Mesothelioma Treatment

Common mesothelioma treatment varies upon the type of mesothelioma cancer the person is afflicted with.  Such treatments vary from a number of factors including age, health, and availability of treatment options.

Mesothelioma treatment can range from surgery to chemotherapy and is an extremely serious form of cancer.  Mesothelioma treatment, unfortunately, can also be somewhat limited due to the fact that because this form of cancer is so dangerous that often times not much can be done unless diagnosed extremely early.

Since there are 3 main types of epithelioid mesothelioma;Pleural (of the lungs), Peritoneal(Abdominal), and Pericardial (of the heart), they are all treated in very different ways.  One method of treatment for one type of mesothelioma cancer can vary greatly from another mesothelioma treatment.
